The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help high-achieving students from small towns and rural areas graduate college debt-free. Recipients must: a) graduate from a public high school located in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents, or b) graduate from a remote rural school located in a county having more than 50,000 residents.

Ohio JCI Senate Scholarship:
Attached is the application for the Ohio JCI Senate Charitable and Education Foundation scholarship program. The Ohio JCI Senate C & E Foundation is made up of the life members of the Ohio JCI Senate who were members of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees).
You will have two (2) categories to choose from
CATEGORY 1 – Academic-Based
CATEGORY 2 – Need-Based
In the Academic-Based, the top two (2) will receive $1,000.00. In addition, the top two (2) in Category 1 will be submitted to the US JCI Senate Foundation scholarship program and could be selected as one of the twenty (20) $1,000.00 scholarships that they will be awarding this year.
In the Need-Based there will be four (4) winners selected with each receiving $1,000.00 scholarship. One (1) is the “Morgan Jones Memorial Scholarship” sponsored by the Ohio JCI Senate, and an additional three (3) of which one (1) scholarship will be given to a student who is a resident in one of the following counties: Allen, Putnam or Van Wert.
Please note applicants may only submit an application in one (1) category. Please check the category in which you wish to have your application judged, and return enclosed page with your application. Attach the category page to your application.
The deadline for submitting applications is January 22, 2021. Judging will take place by February 21, 2021. Winners will be notified by letter.
Big Sun Scholarship:
The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. Their participation may be in any capacity, whether as a player, coach or official.

Amount of Award - $500.00
The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.

Americas Farmers Scholarship:
America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders, sponsored by Bayer Fund, is offering more than $500,000 in scholarships to high school seniors and college students pursuing an ag-related field of study. Students can apply for a $1,500 scholarship now through January 14, 2021.
Statewide STEM Scholarship Program
All Ohio high school students, who are juniors or seniors during the 2020-2021 school year,
and who meet the qualifications below, are invited to apply for a
$1,000 Believe in Ohio STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship program is to recognize students throughout Ohio for their
contributions to STEM Innovation and Entrepreneurship. To ensure that students from all parts of Ohio
receive recognition, at least one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in each of Ohio’s ninety-nine State
House of Representative districts, and thirty-three Ohio State Senate districts.
Grand Lodge Scholarship
Every year the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio sponsors two $1200
scholarships, awarded to one male and one female graduating senior in each of the 25 Masonic
Districts in the state.

Applicants must be a graduating senior, of the current academic year, from a Williams County School.
Applicants must apply, be accepted and planning to attend a college or technical school.
Recipients must complete their first term and receive a minimum of a 2.25 grade point average or better or forfeit the scholarship. Payment of the scholarship will be made in time for the second term provided grades are received at the address * listed above.

2021 Williams County 4-H Scholarship:
Selection Procedures and Criteria
All applicants are eligible who:
-Have attained the academic rank of high school senior, college freshman, college sophomore,
or college junior; and
-Are current or former Williams County 4-H member for a minimum of four years; and
-Are pursuing any post-secondary education; and
-Are entering any field of study the following academic year.
-Past applicants and recipients may re-apply as eligible.

Attached is a scholarship opportunity for high school seniors: apply for the Defiance, Fulton, Henry or Williams County Farm Bureau $500 Scholarships! The $1000.00 NW Ohio APWA Public Works Scholarship
for Engineering Core or Administrative Students enrolled in fields related to Public Works.

The $500.00 Bennett J. Roessner Scholarship
for small engine and lawn maintenance fields. This is for a student enrolled in a 2-year accredited Ohio educational facility.

Black Swamp Arts Council Scholarship:
The Black Swamp Arts Council will award two $500 scholarships to a graduating high school senior
majoring in a fine arts-related field (visual arts, music, dance, theater, art education or music
education) and accepted to an accredited 2-or4-year post-secondary educational institution. The
student must be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be
graduating from a high school located in Williams, Fulton, Henry, or Defiance county.
Applications are due by March 12, 2021

A scholarship program targeted at students pursuing careers in the crude oil and natural gas industry.
Each scholarship is worth a minimum of $1,000 per year and can be renewed for up to four years. The minimum scholarship applicant criteria include:
– Must be a U.S. citizen.
– Must have a career goal in the natural gas and oil industry.
– Must be an OHIO resident OR a student attending, or planning to attend, an accredited OHIO college, university, technical or trade school.
– Must have and maintain a grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.5 or higher.
