Announcements – Hilltop High School – Monday, December 17, 2018

Congratulations to the JV girls and 7th grade boys for their wins over Fayette Friday night and Saturday.

Also, congratulations to the bands and choirs for their very entertaining Christmas concert yesterday.

Senior pep band members and Katrina. Turn in your Senior Profile forms to the office today.

Games today:  The Freshman will host Ayersville today at 4:30. The JH girls will play right after them against Edon.

National Honor Society members:  Meet in Mrs. Hagans room today during activity period to finalize plans for Friday’s Christmas programming.  Also, new members will get their NHS shirts.

The menus for this week have been changed:  Today-pizza, tomorrow-Surprise lunch, Wednesday-Waffle Wednesday, Thursday-walking tacos, Friday-chicken patty sandwich.

Those going to Italy with Ms. Yoh: Meet with Ms. Yoh tomorrow night at 5:30 in Ms. Yoh’s room for final questions.  Bring all of your signed documents and your tip money for the guide.

Seniors:  If you are interested in applying for the Franklin B. Walter Scholarship, see Ms. Metzger for an application.

Allie Herman is a 7th grader at Fayette HS who was recently diagnosed with cancer.  Fayette’s FCA is collecting donations to help with her treatments.  Bring your donations to the office by tomorrow. The money will be given to Fayette when their boys come here tomorrow night for a game.

All students:  This Friday be sure to wear your craziest holiday cheer outfit or your ugliest Christmas sweater.  Join the contest with prizes to be given away during the morning festivities after exams are over.

Grades 7-12:  You are invited by the FCA and NHS to Solid Rock Church this Friday from when school it out until 2:45. Brad Hurtig and the 10 Talents band will continue their performance from the morning assembly at school.  There will be free snacks available before the concert begins at 1:30. No transportation is provided so make plans with your friends to walk or drive yourself to the church for a great way to start your Christmas break!
